Plain-English summary

Daily Doodle is read by parents to kids. We collect only what we need to send the email and keep our list clean. We do not knowingly collect, store, or share any data about anyone under 18.

What we collect

• Your email address (required to send you the email).
• Your first name (optional — used only to address welcome emails).
• Your IP at signup time (required for anti-spam and abuse prevention).
• Send/open/click events (to measure deliverability and improve the product).

What we do not collect

• No kid name, kid age, kid date of birth, kid school, kid anything.
• No analytics cookies. No ad cookies. No fingerprinting. Our analytics provider (Plausible) does not use cookies.
• No third-party tracking pixels.

Who we share with

Three vendors process data on our behalf, and only on our behalf:

• Beehiiv — sends the email and stores subscriber records.
• Cloudflare / GitHub — hosts this website.
• Plausible — counts page views in aggregate (no cookies, no PII).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone, ever.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Daily Doodle is intended for parents and guardians, who read the issues to children ages 4–10. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. There is no account, no login, and nothing for a child to sign up to. If a parent learns that their child has provided us information, please email privacy@dailydoodle.kids and we will delete it within 72 hours.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe: one-click link at the bottom of every email.
• Delete my data: email privacy@dailydoodle.kids with the address you signed up with. We act within 30 days.
• Export my data: same email; we send you what we have.

California, EEA/UK, and Hawaiʻi residents

You have the rights described above (CCPA, GDPR, UK GDPR). Exercise any of them by emailing privacy@dailydoodle.kids.

Changes to this policy

We post the date of the last change at the top of this page. Material changes (anything that affects what we collect or who we share with) are emailed to all subscribers in advance.
